Lafarge Africa Plc Vocational Training Program
About the Program:
Lafarge Africa Plc is offering an 18-month, non-residential, multi-skilled vocational training program for holders of Ordinary National Diplomas (OND). This program provides training in the following technical disciplines:
- Maintenance Processes: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation, Welding and Fabrication Technology.
- Cement Manufacturing Processes: Production, Process, and Quality.
The program aims to equip participants with the necessary skills and attitudes to be self-employed or employable in these vocational areas. The training includes free tuition, hands-on sessions, and a token allowance to cover incidental expenses. Upon successful completion, candidates will receive the Lafarge Internal Certificate.
Requirements:
- Completion of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from a recognized institution, awarded no earlier than 2021.
- A minimum of 5 O'level credits, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and one additional subject (achieved in a maximum of 2 sittings).
