HOPE-EDU Plateau CBT Exam 2025: New Dates & Instructions for Applicants

The Plateau State Universal Basic Education Board (PSUBEB) has officially released the new examination timetable for the earlier suspended Computer-Based Test (CBT) for teacher recruitment under the HOPE-EDU Programme.

This announcement concerns registered applicants across the three senatorial zones of Plateau State — Southern, Central, and Northern — and outlines vital information on exam venues, dates, and mandatory requirements.


🗓️ Examination Timetable by Zone:

Southern Zone

  • Date: Saturday, 2nd August 2025

  • Local Government Areas:

    • Wase
    • Langtang North
    • Langtang South
    • Shendam
    • Mikang
    • Quan-Pan
  • Venues:

    • Mikang and Shendam have been merged; their examination will take place in Shendam.
    • Other LGAs will write at their earlier designated centres.

Central Zone

  • Date: Monday, 4th August 2025

  • Local Government Areas:

    • Pankshin
    • Kanam
    • Kanke
    • Bokkos
    • Mangu
  • Venues:

    • All applicants will sit for their exams at their earlier designated centres.

Northern Zone

  • Date: Wednesday, 6th August 2025

  • Local Government Areas:

    • Bassa
    • Jos North
    • Jos South
    • Jos East
    • Riyom
    • Barkin Ladi
  • Venues:

    • Exams will hold at the previously designated centres for each LGA.

🕙 Important Notes for All Applicants:

  • CBT Examination begins 10:00 a.m. prompt at all venues on the scheduled days.

  • Applicants are strongly advised to sit for the exam at a centre closest to their residence.

  • Candidates must come with:

    • A fully powered Android phone with sufficient data subscription.
    • A valid means of identification such as:
      • Voter’s Card
      • NIMC Registration Slip/Number
      • Any other official government-issued ID
  • New login credentials will be provided to candidates at the exam centre before the exam begins.
