The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has been a cornerstone of the nation's economic framework since its establishment in 1891. Basic Requirements:


To be considered for the position, applicants must meet the following criteria:


Citizenship: Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.


National Identification Number (NIN): Must possess a valid NIN.


Criminal Record: Must not have any criminal record or be under investigation.



Academic Requirements:


For the Superintendent Cadre, the following qualifications are required:


A university degree or Higher National Diploma (HND).


An NYSC discharge certificate.



Medical Requirements:


Candidates must be physically and mentally fit. A medical certificate of fitness from a recognized government hospital will be required as evidence of this.

General Conditions:

Applicants must not have been convicted of any criminal offense.


Membership in any secret society, cult, or being a drug addict will result in disqualification.


A certificate of state/LGA of origin must be presented.
