Position: Global Fund Finance and Admin Manager
Location: Nigeria
Reports To: Director of Finance and Administration
Job Summary:
The Global Fund Finance and Admin Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative functions related to Global Fund grants. This role involves managing budgets, financial reporting, audits, and compliance with donor requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with program managers, finance staff, and external stakeholders to ensure the effective utilization of resources and adherence to financial best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management:Oversee the financial operations related to Global Fund grants, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with donor guidelines and NACA’s financial policies.
- Budget Control: Monitor and manage budgets for various programs and projects. Provide regular financial updates and analysis to senior management and program teams.
- Audit and Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits. Ensure all financial activities are in compliance with Global Fund regulations and NACA’s internal policies.
- Administrative Oversight: Manage administrative functions such as procurement, logistics, and human resources related to Global Fund projects. Ensure efficient office operations and support program implementation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with donors, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with all reporting requirements.
- Team Leadership: Supervise finance and administrative staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and professional development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management and administration, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience with managing Global Fund grants or other large donor-funded projects is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and audit practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
