Eligibility Requirements for Host Organizations

To ensure the highest quality of mentorship and professional development for the fellows, the NJFP has set clear criteria for participating organizations. To qualify as a Host Organization in 2026, your entity must provide:

  •  Legal Registration: Valid and up-to-date regulatory documentation, including a CAC Certificate of Registration and a Tax Identification Number (TIN).
  •  Official Commitment: An official letter of interest detailing your organization's understanding of the NJFP objectives and a firm commitment to accepting fellow placements.
  •  Structured Roles:Explicit and clear descriptions of available roles and the specific requirements for each position.
  •  Mentorship Capacity: An agreement to provide dedicated mentorship support through experienced professionals already within your organization.
  •  Ethical Standards: A signed agreement to abide by the programme’s guidelines and code of conduct.
  •  Inclusive Policies:Evidence of non-discrimination policies regarding gender, ethnicity, religion, and disability, as well as strict policies against sexual harassment and abuse (PSHEA).
  •  Clean Record:No criminal records, convictions, or any affiliation with proscribed organizations.

FAQ for Organizations

Q: Does the organization pay the Fellow's stipend?

A: No. The programme provides a monthly stipend (currently ₦150,000) to the fellows for the 12-month duration.

Q: Can we hire the Fellow after the programme?

A: Absolutely. While there is no obligation, many Host Organizations choose to retain top-performing fellows as full-time staff after the 12 months.
